Everybody loves moons on their heads...

Alright, here's my resto druid look.  Hiyacinth, a play on hyacinth, I created her after I discovered that I love healing.  Before 4.3 and all the new 5mans, this toon had the second best pvp and pve healing gear.  Just haven't had much time to beef up her gear with all this transmogging going around!

I've seen a lot of people running around with this helm but I still love it.  Plus, you can buy the token needed to purchase this from a vendor in Dalaran for a mere 770 JP.  Yay, no grinding required.  Also, I am a big fan of the super precious Moonkin Hatchling with this toon, even though it doesn't exactly match the outfit :p  I mean, come on, it flies with you, has cute animations, plants flowers for you sometimes and is adorable.

Item details ahead!

Resto Druid Look Inc!

So, I'm too sleepy right now to do a full-blown list of the pieces to my first druid's look...but I will post a screenshot for a little taste :p

Hiyacinth, my resto druid and third to both 80 and 85.  This isn't the final overall look; I want a different belt and I'm not totally satisfied with the staff, but I like how it's turning out.

Stay tuned for the details to this resto druid look featuring Malfurion's Robe of Conquest!

Shamwow

Second toon to 85, first to 80: Hakumele.  She is my resto/ele shaman and: the toon I usually pvp the most with, typically has the best gear, is my mount/pet collector and achievement whore, was exalted with my guild until I was an idiot and switched guilds with my then boyfriend, definitely one of my absolute favorites to play.

I don't know what inspired me to put together this look but I'm pleased with how it turned out.  I'm working on getting the Guardian of Cenarius title to go along with this but I'll be damned if I have to pug an AQ raid for CC rep.  I do however have a lovely tabard to rock with my night elf protectory look.  Not all of my ladies have a lot of companion pets to go along with their looks but I've got future plans to remedy that.  Haku however has 106 wee little friends (to date) and I've chosen Hippogryph Hatchling and Sprite Darter Hatchling to accompany this look.

Weeee, details!

Internet, meet Nyxa

Back in the winter of 2008, I downloaded the free trial of World of Warcraft.  I never thought of myself as someone who would play wow but I had a secret wow nerd inside me just clawing to get out, apparently. Nyxa was the character I created when I took my first baby steps in Azeroth, though her race, name and realm were different then.  The idea of mages intrigued naive me so that's what I picked.  I can't recall the reason I picked Undead, probably because they are so badass looking, and I went with the name Bathoriana (after Elizabeth Bathory).  After a series of significant others who strictly play Alliance and the arrival of Cataclysm, I transferred her to Stormrage and she became Nyxa the Night Elf Mage.

While wandering around looking for Night Elven dig sites, I pieced together this Scandalous Silk Nightgown and immediately cursed the shitty Azerothian dirt it deteriorated in; the damn thing wasn't equippable!  Now that the Blizzard gods have bestowed us with the power to transmogrify, I can't help but wonder what this nightgown would look like if I could equip it.  Thus, the name of this blog was born.

Ok, onto the good stuff.

O Hai!

So, as soon as I logged on after patch 4.3 dropped, all of my time in-game has been spent slaving over transmogrification ideas.  I used to pvp all the time and I still have some lowbies to get to 85 buuuuuut once Nyxa's look was finalized I just couldn't do anything on any of my alts until they looked fly too.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I wonder how you stumbled upon my site but you should probably go ahead and stop reading lol.  For everyone else who knows what's up, I welcome you!

I've spent many hours scouring loot tables and quest chain rewards to put together workable looks for my Stormrage ladies.  I'm a big fan of using things that I would never have been able to use before, like legs that look like skirts on my hunter or dps maces on my healers, so I hope that my findings will prove useful or at least entertaining.  I get bored with things easily, thus why I have so many alts, and will probably be changing looks often and working on new ones constantly.  Currently, World of Warcraft is one of my only hobbies and I'm hoping that maintaining this site will become a new one :p

There were some other things I wanted to say but I can't remember them, oh well.  Next post will be all about this blog's namesake.  Enjoy!
